How to Measure
It is best not to measure yourself. Please have someone else do it for you to ensure greater accuracy. There are three easy steps for bust, waist, and hip measurements. The pink lines shown in the photo are designated places to put the measuring tape.
- Measure bust line at fullest part with bra on. This is a snug measurement but do not pull causing indentions.
- Measure the natural waist. Bend to the side. Place the tape measure where the crease forms. This is your natural waist, not the top of your jeans. This is a very snug measurement and should be as snug as you wish to wear your garment, but not too tight.
- Measure the fullest part of your hips with your feet together. This should be below the waistband of your jeans. This is a snug measurement but do not pull causing indentions.
For a hollow to hem measurement, measure from center of collar bone (where your body has a hollow place) to floor or where hem of gown will fall.
Other measurements may be necessary for your special gown. If you have any questions, please call us at 1.800.798.9551, and we would be happy to assist.
